About ARIDYN
With 30 years of living and professional experience with service providers, we know the value of personal connections and a support team you can call family.
After experiencing the benefits and pain points of conventional service providers, we wanted to provide a more fluid and collaborative experience between participants, carers and everyone involved in maximising their quality of life.
Nick Anassis
Managing Director
Nick grew up experiencing his brother’s complex needs in both mental health and intellectual disabilities. This led him to become qualified in Disability. Once obtaining his qualification, his journey started as a support worker working for a large service provider where participants had varying complex needs. After years of dedication made his way up the hierarchical structure to Team Leader, Coordinator and Manager.
A decision was made to make a difference, this gave birth to Aridyn. Today he is the founder and Director of Aridyn Disability Services and brings with him a myriad of expertise.
Through the close relationships with many families, it was discovered that larger services lacked flexibility and the personal touch. Every participant who comes to Aridyn Disability Services becomes a part of our extended family. With fluid communication and support, goals will be achieved and the lives of many will be changed for the better.

Her extensive dedication and focus came through the lived and living experience of raising her son with dual disabilities. A strong voice evolved in supporting other families by having an active presence within the community in making change.
Sitting on multiple Advisory Committees and many sub-committees formed by the Department of Health, NDIS, Monash Mental Health, NDS and Tandem participating in Co-Design, Focus Groups and Working Group projects in bringing systemic change. The most recent project has come to fruition with the My Lived ID website – a dedicated website with information for people with intellectual disabilities.
She has developed and delivered educational group-based programs through the Learn Local Community Centre specifically aimed at people with intellectual disabilities to improve independence and life skills.
